Maker Unknown. Low Note Didgeridoo.
There can be no doubt why this one is called the "Question Mark". It is a real live low note at Ab, The rumble kind of reminds you of starting up an old Buick. And it takes some finesse to drive this thing. The bore is skinny enough that the first two trumpets are so easy. It is fun just to play them like they were drone tones on a high note didge. Yet that same bore is big enough to have a lot of low note power.
It is painted black, but it really should have a more circus like paint job, since it is shaped like something that came from Dr Seuss's garden. It might seem kind of long, but remember that it would be a whole lot longer if it were straight. That's just what it takes to reach way down to Ab. I think the curve somehow makes it easier to control, and that bell is always going to be behind you. It has a couple of light scratches on the bell. Sorry, it came like that.

This whistle has a beautiful, warm tone and is very responsive. I have used a variety of whistles (including other Kerry whistles), and this one is my favorite to play. While recording my latest album, I needed a whistle in this key pretty quickly, and Lark in the Morning had this delivered to me within a few days. I highly recommend this instrument, and Lark in the Morning is a fantastic place to purchase from with excellent customer service.

I already play a mountain lap dulcimer, but this one gives the instrument a whole different dimension to playing. Really beautiful craftsmanship. Thus isn’t a toy, but a lovely wooden instrument. Very easy to play!

Multifacsited approach to something fun to do!

Plays like a dream. I have MS and am no longer able to play guitar, but this uke let's me play songs again and sing. I had no idea how much I'd missed having music in my body. Thanks, Lark!

I love these little hand carved wood whistles from Brazil
